It will include several distinguished keynote speakers and three conference days full of papers, panels, posters and demos. A series of exciting tutorials to develop skills in and advance awareness of requirements engineering practices is of particular interest to industry. Two days of workshops as well as doctoral symposium offer forums for participants to present cutting-edge techniques and approaches in particular fields. We are experiencing an explosion in artificial intelligence AI technologies that will result in a paradigm shift for requirements engineering RE.
The detailed descriptions about the theme can be found at the following link. If you are undecided about whether to attend RE'19, we asked a group of distinguished software engineering researchers and practitioners why they attend the Requirements Engineering Conference. Their answers may surprise you.
RE'19 invites original submissions in all areas of RE including elicitation, specification, modeling, analysis, verification and evolution:. Research Papers. Technical Solution papers that describe and validate better solutions to requirements-related problems.
software engineering IEEE PAPER 2016
Scientific Evaluation papers that evaluate existing problem situations, real-world artifacts or proposed solutions by scientific means. Perspective papers that explore successes and challenges of requirements practices and research agendas or present research roadmaps, possibly derived from a literature review. Mentoring Available! Please check the detail information about RE mentoring in following link. Industry Papers and Presentations.
Problem statement papers that describe a significant challenge that has been encountered in industry and has not been satisfactorily solved. Experience report papers that report on the innovative application of a concept or method. Vision papers that propose a solution and a roadmap for addressing a significant challenge experienced in industry.

A variety of formats can be considered, ranging from traditional research paper presentations to extremely interactive and participatory sessions that do not require paper selection. Tutorial program will highlight tutorials on a variety of requirements-related topics of interest to industry, academia, and government to help attendees increase their knowledge, skills, and awareness of established and emerging requirements engineering practices.
Tutorial attendees can expect to leave a tutorial with new ideas and skills applicable to their profession or research area. Consequently, software engineering has a duty to society beyond the narrow technical goals of creating systems that meet their cost, schedule, and quality goals. Specifically, we seek contributions that highlight how software engineering can address the opportunities and challenges posed by the rapidly accelerating pace of technological advances impacting the economic, political, environmental, social, and technical aspects of society.
This theme issue also aims to discuss new trends in software development, in which software is only a part of a larger system, and its development is tackled within specific disciplines with limited or no involvement of software experts. The goal is to investigate the reasons for this trend, analyze possible novel contributions from the software engineering community, and identify novel research challenges that these disciplines pose to software engineering methodologies and practices. So, we strongly encourage submissions describing research performed in collaboration with practitioners or members of governmental or nongovernmental organizations.
Manuscripts must not exceed 3, words including figures and tables, which count for words each. Submissions exceeding these limits might be rejected without refereeing.
